ALL SAINTS LITERACY CENTER PRIVACY POLICY

All Saints Literacy Center enables adult learners to meet the challenges of today by improving their reading, writing, math and English speaking skills. Qualified tutors provide an individualized learning plan tailored to the goals and objectives of the learner in a welcoming environment. 

The purpose of our privacy policy is to inform users about how All Saints Literacy Center collects, uses, shares, and protects users’ personal data, providing transparency about data practices and allowing users to understand their privacy rights regarding their information; essentially, it aims to build trust by clearly communicating how a company handles user data. 

Types of Information Collected: It is optional to provide personal information. If you opt-in you may provide your name, phone number, and/or email address to send and receive communications about educational programs and events.

How Information is Collected: We collect information through website or paper forms, voicemail, text messages, and phone calls received.

Purpose of Data Collection: Personal information is used to schedule orientations, testing, classes, and tutoring sessions, and to communicate events, workshops, and closure due to inclement weather or due to other unforeseen circumstances.

Data Security Measures & Data Sharing: Personal information is only accessible to and shared with the All Saints Literacy Center Executive Director, Program Manager, and Data Coordinator. We do not share personal or identifying information with anyone else outside of or inside of this nonprofit organization.

SMS Consent: SMS and names/contact information is not shared with third parties for marketing or any other purposes. Your phone number and any information provided via SMS will only be used to deliver relevant updates and information related to educational programs, workshops, and events. 

User Rights: You have the right to access, review, and update your personal information stored with us, and in certain circumstances, request its deletion. This means you can ask to see what data we hold about you, correct any inaccuracies, and, depending on the situation, ask us to remove your data from our records.
